The company

An identity company with one strong opinion.

Ntanglenet builds identity and access management software. Our product is IAMShield, and the opinion behind it is simple: the password is the weakest part of every sign-in, so we took it out rather than building more defences around it.

The problem

Every breach starts somewhere. Usually a password.

Passwords are the one control your security depends on and your users resent. The cost is not only the breach that eventually happens.

  • 01
    The breach

Passwords get reused across sites, written down, shared between colleagues, and handed over to convincing phishing pages. Multi-factor authentication helps, but it still leaves the password in place as something worth stealing.

  • 02
    The friction

Every additional factor adds a step to every login. Security that people resent is security people work around.

  • 03
    The quiet tax

The resets, the lockouts, the helpdesk tickets, the rotation policies, and the cost of asking people to remember something a machine chose for them.

The approach

What we decided to do about it.

We remove the password, not add to it

The credential itself becomes a private key held on the user's own phone, which never leaves the device and is never transmitted. There is no shared secret left to steal.

We run it, so you do not have to

IAMShield is delivered as a managed service. We provision and operate your organization; your team connects applications and manages people from a browser console.

We build on standards, not lock-in

OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 and SAML 2.0 already describe what an identity system needs to do. Applications that support single sign-on connect without code changes.

We make it provable

Every approval, signature check and session is recorded. Security you cannot evidence is security you cannot defend in an audit.

Tell us what you would put behind it first.

IAMShield is available now through an early-access programme. You run it against a small group of real users, with your own applications, before committing to anything wider.

Tell us which application you would put behind it first, and we will have an environment ready for you.
